Our beloved furbaby has left us. He was a great dog and we were very blessed to have 10 and half years with him. Our hearts are broken but our pets just don't get to stay with us forever.
I still keep listening for his jingles or to hear him bound down the stairs. I still go to the back door to let him in because I think he is outside. The quiet in our house is deafening. Just makes the loss that much more. We will miss our big dufus but we will never forget him.
Time will lessen the pain but for now the void in our hearts and in our home is almost too much to bear.
